Last week our branch based in County Durham had a visit from County Durham Commissioners, this visit was to carry out an annual Audit looking into various aspects of the business, including documentation, filing and protocols etc. This is to ensure they are complying with their County Durham contract.

The Audit took two days to complete with a third day for feedback. The Commissioners assessed how the branch was performing, what areas they excelled in and any areas that required improvement. This was a great guide for their newly appointed Manager who now has a benchmark for moving forward with the branch. There were many areas this branch was found to be excelling in already including Safeguarding, Health & Safety, Health & Hygiene, Medication, Confidentiality and Protection to name a few.

Well done to the Management Team for their teamwork and ability to adapt to the many changes required over the last 18 months.
